Perks are upgrades earned by playing over multiple games, which can improve one's ability in The Final Stand 2.

Basics Edit

Whenever a player gains enough experience to advance to their next level, they gain 1 perk point. Perk points can be used in the perk menu, which is located on the right of the main menu. In the perk menu, perk points are used to unlock or upgrade perks, and there are perk slots which may be equipped with perks.

Advanced Information Edit

Perks can be upgraded to level 3. As level 1 (unlocking the perk) costs 1 perk point, level 2 costs 2 perk points, and level 3 costs 3 perk points, a single perk requires 6 perk points to be fully upgraded. The saturation of the background of a perk increases as its level increases.

A player's advancement in The Final Stand 2 is usually indicated by their level and the number of perk slots they have. Upon reaching level 1, the first perk slot is made accessible. Up to 4 perk slots may be obtained, at levels 1, 5, 15, and 30 respectively.

Certain perks are called "Locking Perks", meaning that once put into a slot and the "Play" button on the main menu is pressed, their slot cannot be used for another perk until the player leaves the server.

There are 4 types of perks, conveniently indicated by colour. They are:

  • Offensive Perks (Red)
  • Defensive Perks (Blue)
  • Mobility Perks (Green)
  • Monetary Perks (Yellow)
